i'm tired. and i have to finish this article on the zodiac, horoscopes and astrology.
SIGH.
tired tired tired.
it's friday and i'm in school still. havent been going home on fridays for a long time, sometimes even staying over the entire weekend. chuan is having block leave this week, so that makes more reason to go home. but after he goes back to camp, how strong is the pull factor to make me Want to go home to a place where hardly any interaction takes place?
glimpses of the future have slapped us in the face so many times, since so long ago, a decade at least i should think? as time progresses and we move towards the later parts of our lives, these shots seem to be approaching fast, faster than usual, too fast for comfort. maybe time can slow down - so that we can appreciate what we possess now, the people we have around us now, or so that those unhappy ones will experience prolonged discomfort...?
i'm thankful for the naughty little bugger at home, he's been more help than he knows, seriously. good job bro. if not for you, those glimpses would have been accelerated, to maybe even..now? or tomorrow?
tolerance is such a powerful word. it resolves little conflicts in the short term, and creates much tension, both externally and internally, in the long run. how much tolerance can each of us have? how much patience before the rope snaps?
it's been at least a decade and it started even before then. we're grateful that you have held on for so long despite the trying circumstances and the stifling freedom. we know why you did what you did, why u are doing what you are doing, because we understand who you did all that for. in recent years, tensions have increased in so many areas, you're not the only one reaching the peak of this delicate balance called tolerance. no matter what you choose to carry out, you have our heartfelt support and lifelong understanding. Be strong.
