colours are just arbitrary meanings.
black, white, grey.
how do you define which colour represents what meaning? they have got to be different in characteristics, just as each colour varies from one another. simultaneously, their referents have to be able to be categorised under the same group, just as black, white and grey are colours surrounding us.
love--hate. like--dislike. acceptable--unacceptable. like alot--like a little.
put these colours in a venn diagram?
