today i did something that i've wanted to for the longest time ever. i brought my book and went to the library, planning to just sit, read and drink. instead, i couldn't help browsing through the shelves of books-fiction and non fiction, and ended up reading a lovely book accompanied by 1 chicken pie, a skinny latte (that was seriously not the best of lattes...) and finally a slice of oreo cheesecake that i really should not have touched.

nevermind that i brought my book out for nothing, i actually enjoyed my afternoon at the lib, despite freezing my hands and feet. guess it was just one of the things i really had to do, to get away from everything else. CORS included.

reading. man, i love doing that, but i barely read anything other than notes and da vinci code this year. it aint only girly books about shopaholics and love that makes reading fun, it's the other genres that books have to offer: history, greek mythology, astronomy, physics, cookbooks (yes, cookbooks although i can't cook).... i love danielle steel and her books.

didn't go for training today. i feel like quitting the team already. i've probably got the worst eye-hand-brain-ball coordination ever and i'm onli gonna be warming the benches. so why play on. such a quitter. can't stand it. it's not like track, i wouldn't even mind being in track, at least i get real exercise and burn calories there, even if i were to be the slowest runner haha. but softball just aint working for me...losing interest in it already. should i go for training on friday? that'll mess up my lunch with missy...and what about cblc agm on fri too?!

argh. whatever.

going running about now, feel like i could do with a run, although it takes up an entire hour, running is a time for thinking through stuff. stuff about this year, about this hols, about people, and about next year.

give me a choice, i will not be a psychology major in nus arts. what i really want to do, singapore can't give it to me. i wanna study astronomy and music and greek/roman/medieval history. i wanna have a job that will allow me to travel all over and not be stuck in a place the rest of my life, and most certainly not on a little island like dear ol' singapore.

jeremy thinks i really dislike being in a place for too long and that i don't really like this place. i say he's spot on.
