1st day of sem 2 '05/06 already. i totally cant believe how quickly 3 friggin' glorious months of summer hols are over! just like that. oh well, there's still december in bout erm, 4 months time. right.

doesn't feel like the usual refreshing sense of going back to school after a long break, especially cos i've been gg to sch at least 4 times a week the past 2 weeks or so cos of camp, matric fair, meetings, rag yada yada.

had dinner w the band girls on friday at the hawker area beside esplanade. been longing to go back there ever since the clarinetists' supper there. so naturally, i was really looking forward to the company and the dinner! huixian is finally back from europe :) so happy for her that she had such a great time! had to leave right after dinner and din really get to chat more w them. sorry girls, next time it wun be like that, promise! ooh, hx brought back a minature wooden clog and chocolates for us. the shoe is so pretty, i've already got a place for it on my table!!

Rag on sat was quite fun. a number of us stayed over from friday night. there was even Vader supper at fongseng! shalynn james yewmun jiahe kimhai peihuan jialiang me. kim peihuan and i stayed over at sha's room @ pgp. talked till nearly 5.45am before i fell asleep and woke up at 6.30am. was completely zonked out the whole of saturday during rag and after that. literally had front row seats this yr for rag since jieying and i were standing near the V-VIP area watching the performances. realised that alot of my friends/freshies were performing - grace tye, grace tiang, lydia, leo, xilin, winson, sue ann, and somemore that i've forgotten.

there was a special centennial buffet lunch prepared at the new university hall and the food was good!! heard some interesting news. but dunno how true it is. amazingly managed to survive till dolus bbq at nana's new condo. although i was late and left early, i really enjoyed spending time w those boys and girls: xuan, melvin, melissa, jas, nana, thomas, markie, rochelle, ivan, ernest. everything's just back to good ol' simple friendship without the agony of tension and awkwardness and whatnots.

although we said we'll remain good friends after all that has happened, is it honestly possible for that to happen? i really wonder at times. especially during those moments when it seems that none of us suddenly have anything to say, during those times when holding a decent conversation that covers anything but conversational topics seem practically nonexistent. this is completely not what i was hoping would happen. when i said "status quo" that time, i really meant it. is it just me or is it you or is it both of us who are screwing things up like that? i really dunno.

dun you feel that tinge of tension in the air nowadays? i do. i really do.
