i've not blogged in quite a while, its time to note down what's been happening!

firstly, i missed debbie's unplugged concert cum birthday party on sat. sorry debbie. just read xuan's and jas's accounts on sat's party, they had such fun...... :(

i started spanish lessons on sat afternoon. yep, that's the reason why i couldn't make it for debbie's party. much as i wanted to skip lesson, the language lady warned that it would be very difficult to do a make-up for so many lessons, sigh. jem's dad gave us a lift...to the busstop outside our place haha. his dad actually asked him a weird question like whether it's his interest in the subject or.....that made him wanna take spanish haha! seriously. spanish is fun! the teacher (sheesh, i dun even know his name...) kept calling us (the females of course) "sweetheart" or "honey" or "m'lady", hehe so cute.

met up w veron, nicholas and edmund after that at city hall where we had dinner before walking over to VCH for the NTU symphonic band concert. to be honest, the concert was not really fantastic, but not bad nonetheless. the song that weiting, veron, nic and i were really waiting eagerly to hear was none other than "Praise Jerusalem" - our 2003 SYF piece. they played all 5 movements, din cut out any parts unlike the shortened version we played 2 years back. ah, that song is genuinely a classic, love it still, and surprisingly, i could still remember most of the notes to the 2nd clarinet parts. hehe, i noticed that throughout the piece, i was not the onli one fingering some of the notes, nic was doing that too on his imaginary flute! shows how much we really miss playing...

we sat around in mac's at boat quay till bout 1230 before deciding to head home and realising that there aint no more buses!! in the end, we walked to city hall, to the bus stop opposite peninsula plaza and waited for our NR buses. nic walked veron out to take a cab before he came back to catch his bus. edmund took NR1 with me and alighted at toa payoh while i took it all the way back to amk, where mummy picked me up on her way home. and that was at 230am. haha. think we had a good time chatting, bout the present and of course, bout the past. edmund brought up nicholas's numerous scandals in sch, esp w the juniors (in particular the tkgs ones). haha that was funny.

friday night
i feel kinda mean now, cos of what i said to someone on friday night. i couldn't help but say it, cos u wanted to know anyway... the onli thing good that happened out of our conversation was that it took place over msn, and not face-to-face, cos i doubt i'd be able to actually get the words outta my mouth without first stumbling over them and getting tongue-tied. make that badly tongue-tied. i hate doing such stuff, whether its over the phone or face-to-face or thru msn or whatever! always feel like the bad guy in such situations. there'd be loads of apologies from me, but no amt of sorries can compensate for that horrible feeling i (and you) get. sorry again. matter of factly speaking, it's only a matter of time before u know anyway, and since u kept asking and lamenting bout ur lack of sleep, i thought i'd just give it to you, like that. well, i did try to be as tactful as possible, but some things just haf the same effect no matter how you phrase your words. so there. stop feeling like such a meanie. but 1 thing i know for sure, from that night onwards, it will not be the same again. it's a tried and tested result. a barrier will be erected between us unknowingly and aquaintances will be all that we'll be.
