i left sch with a smile on my face, literally. kinda unexplainable, just that while walking from the busstop to the eusoff carpark (where mel and rochelle were) somehow abit of that familiar rhythm and skip in the footsteps popped out from nowhere...was smiling inside. since last week when i was working on my film essay, i've been looking forward to the end of tuesday aka Now. so when 'Now' finally came, well, it was good.
set a 'record' for myself last night..left sch at 130am(!!!!), reached home at 2am(!!!!), slept at 3, woke up at 530 for lect at 8. whoa, never done anything like that before. actually, we could haf completed the physics demo way before 1, but plus the talking and stuff like that, it stretched up to 5 hours.
the demo was more fun than anything i expected, it was really informal, we showed them the double cone rolling uphill, ym did most of the talking actually, i added in abit here and there, the lecturer asked a few simple qns and we were done! somehow i've not gotten over the anxiety and butterflies in the stomach effect when speaking in front of a grp of pple, sheesh. could feel my hands shaking as i showed them the expt. haha what suprised me was that ym's hands were shaking too..hmmm (?) din know he got nervous in front of crowds too.
we spent the rest of the lab period exploring the demo lab..honestly i love that subject and even more how its found in every aspect of our daily activities. sigh~ just to quote something that this phd physics senior said:"you dun choose the subject, the subject chooses you." that makes alot alot of sense, guess i aint what the subject is looking for...
things are certainly looking up over here :) thats good! things are not as strained as before..not as uncomfortable...hope it gets even better.
